The weekend is booked as two nights, with the full buyout starting at 4 p.m. Friday and departure on Sunday. Everything below is part of the package.

To arrange separately: caterer, celebrant, DJ, decor and photography, all your choice. We are a bring-your-own-wine venue, and bar service options are available through our partners.

How many guests can the Auberge host for a wedding?
Up to 65 guests for the reception and 54 people staying overnight in our 18 bedrooms. The format is built for intimate weddings of 20 to 65 people: everyone sleeps on site, nobody drives home.
Is the Auberge rented in full for a single wedding?
Yes. You are the only group on site: the 18 bedrooms, the reception hall, the kitchen, the common areas and the lakefront terrace are yours for your entire stay. No other guests, no parallel wedding.
How many celebration venues are there on site?
Four, all overlooking Lac des Sables and all included in the buyout: Terrasse 180 (30 to 70 people), La Tourelle (30 to 65), Le Petit Hall, known as the hall of vows (30 to 45), and the Salle Panoramique (40). The hall also becomes the dance floor.
Can the ceremony be held on site?
Yes. The ceremony can take place on Terrasse 180 facing Lac des Sables (up to 70 people), in La Tourelle or in Le Petit Hall depending on the weather and the season. Ceremony, cocktail, dinner and next-day brunch all happen in the same place.
What is the rain plan?
The dining room seats up to 65 guests whatever the weather. No tent to rent, no last-minute decision: the rain plan is part of the venue.
Are we required to use your caterer?
No. You choose your caterer, your DJ, your photographer and your decorator. We share the list of Laurentian vendors we have worked with for years, but the choice stays yours.
Can we bring our own wine?
Yes. The Auberge is a bring-your-own-wine venue, and wine and champagne glassware is provided, champagne wall included. Bar service options are available through our partners.
Where can the wedding photographs be taken?
On the lakefront terrace, in the turret, along the shore of Lac des Sables, and a few minutes' walk away at Major beach, one of our favourite spots for the couple's photographs.
How many nights must be booked for a wedding?
Two nights, with the buyout starting at 4 p.m. Friday and departure on Sunday. That leaves time to set up on Friday, celebrate on Saturday and linger over brunch on Sunday, with no race against the clock.
How much does a wedding at the Auberge du Lac des Sables cost?
The rate depends on the number of bedrooms, the length of the stay and the season. A wedding weekend is booked as two nights with a full buyout of the 18 suites, starting at 4 p.m. Friday. For groups of 60 or more, a housekeeping supplement of $35 per person applies. Write to us with your date and guest count and you will receive a costed proposal.
How far is the Auberge from Montreal?
An hour and fifteen minutes from Montreal and roughly two hours from Quebec City, in Sainte-Agathe-des-Monts, in the heart of the Laurentians. The Auberge is at 230 rue Saint-Venant, minutes from downtown Sainte-Agathe.
